According to the data from the National Intellectual Property Administration of China, Henan Hongcheng New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. has filed a patent entitled High Sintering Activity Alumina Ceramic Powder and Its Preparation Method, as well as a Preparation Method of Alumina Ceramics, with the publication number CN 119100764 A and a filing date of September 2024.

The invention belongs to the technical field of ceramic materials, and specifically relates to a high sintering activity alumina ceramic powder, its preparation method, and a preparation method of alumina ceramics.

Weak acid is adopted to modify alumina ceramic powder, which can slightly etch the alumina surface. On the one hand, it enhances the sintering activity; on the other hand, it increases the specific surface area, enabling fuller contact with more surfactants during secondary modification and improving the overall modification effect.

Secondary modification is carried out via surfactant treatment to further boost the activity of alumina powder, while optimizing its compatibility and dispersibility. This prevents powder agglomeration during the hydrothermal reaction, yields uniform powder particles, and further improves sintering activity.

Hydrothermal treatment is subsequently performed. After primary modification, the surface of alumina powder particles is rough and irregular. The hydrothermal method is used to regulate and modify the particle morphology of the prepared alumina ceramic powder, forming regular and uniform surface features, and ultimately obtaining alumina ceramic powder with high sintering activity.
