R&D Team
The company enjoys a sound operating environment and employs a high-caliber talent team. It currently has functional departments including the General Operation Department, Technology R&D Department, Production Department, Marketing Department and Finance Department. There are more than 50 professional and technical staff, among whom over 20 are high-end talents with master’s or doctoral degrees. The technical R&D team is built around **Dr. Chen Dongsheng**, an authoritative expert in the industry. His credentials include: Postdoctoral Fellow at Imperial College London, PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Liverpool, Senior Researcher at GSK UK; Yellow River Scholar, Distinguished Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Henan University; Director of Henan Provincial Engineering Research Center for Inorganic Ion Exchange Resins; and Member of the Expert Committee of the National Strategic Alliance for Technological Innovation of Nickel, Cobalt and Platinum Group Metals Industry.
Manufacturing Capability
At present, the company’s precision alumina ceramic materials are available in four specifications: 175nm, 250nm, 350nm and 500nm. The 175nm grade product shares a similarity of 93% with the 125nm premium grade of Tomei Powder, one of the world’s top-tier products. Moreover, all specifications of our products fully outperform internationally leading benchmark products, including those from Sumitomo (Japan), Martin (Germany), Pechiney (France), Alcoa (the United States), and all Tomei (Japan) products except its 125nm grade. Therefore, the company is fully capable of achieving comprehensive import substitution.

In 2020, based on the Torch Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, we broke through the technical bottlenecks of microcrystallization and single-particle dispersion of alumina ceramic powder, and established the foundation for the R&D of industrial production processes for related technologies. Mastering the production processes and core technologies of high-purity low-temperature easily sinterable alumina ceramic powder materials is of great significance for promoting the transformation, upgrading and high-quality development of China’s alumina ceramic industry.

  • Excellent low-temperature sintering performance
    Hongcheng 175 nm alumina ceramic material achieves a sintered density of 3.93 g/cm³ at 1400°C, requiring only about 50°C higher temperature than Japan’s Tomei Chemical TM‑DAR product, which reaches its sintered density at 1350°C. Hongcheng alumina ceramic materials can realize high‑density sintering at relatively low temperatures, which helps save energy and reduce production costs.
